Confédération Europeenne des Organisations Nationales de la Boulangerie et de la Pâtisserie (CEBP)

Die CEBP is the European Association of National Bakery and Confectionery Organisations. The association especially represents the interests of small and medium-sized bakeries and confectioneries in their dealings with the European Administration and the European Parliament. In addition, the CEBP handles questions of hygiene regulations, all food laws, etc. At the centre of their objectives is the protection of small and mid-sized companies. The CEBP advocates regulations that keep the member enterprises viable, ensures their survival and strengthens their market positions in a field of larger competitors.

International Union of Bakers and Bakers-Confectioners (UIB)

The UIB is the International Association of Professional Bakers and Bakers/Confectioners. Currently, the association has 29 European and non-European members. Among other activities, the UIB represents the cultural, economic and social interests of its members and handles problems pertaining to the vocational training, technologies, quality, sales, tax accounting, etc. The UIB also advises and represents its members and protects their interests in dealings with International agencies and organizations.

Central Association of the German Bakery Trade

The Central Association of the German Bakery Trade (Zentralverband des Deutschen Bäckereihandwerks e.V.) is the information and working committee of the German bakery trade. Along with the bakery guilds in the Federal German States, the association represents the interests of German bakeries. Every three years, the central association organizes the IBA, which is the largest and most important bakery trade fair worldwide. Among their many functions, the central association counsels and sponsors individual bakeries, performs quality control audits and offers hygiene training and advice on the German Infection Protection Act.
